Cremona: Pole position for Milell

31 drivers took part in the Qualifying Practice of the European KZ Championship in Cremona on Friday afternoon with a temperature of 34° and strong grip on the track. Traffic management was an important element of this session.

Valerio Giambattista (CRG/Maxter) was the first to take to the track. The others waited until the last four minutes to start the race. The serious stuff started on the second lap with Tuukka Taponen (Tony Kart/Vortex) in 46”042. Noah Milell (Tony Kart/Vortex) led on the 3rd lap in 45”798, two tenths ahead of Senna van Walstijn (Sodi/TM). From the fourth lap onwards, the times did not improve. Taponen secured 3rd place ahead of Pedro Hiltbrand (Birel ART/TM) and Juho Valtanen (Tony Kart/Vortex). The speed of the Tony Kart was confirmed by Simo Puhakka’s (Tony Kart/Vortex) 6th place. Paolo Ippolito (KR/Iame) finished 7th, 3 tenths behind Riccardo Longhi (Birel ART/TM). Emilien Denner (Sodi/TM) was 9th and Lorenzo Camplese (Tony Kart/Vortex) 10th. Jérémy Iglesias (CRG/TM) was 12th, Matteo Vigano (Birel ART/TM) 14th ahead of Marijn Kremers (Birel ART/TM). Yohan Soguel (Oberon/TM) was 22nd, Adrien Renaudin (Tony Kart/Vortex) 23rd and Louis Bonsaudo (Intrepid/TM) 29th.
