Sensational first OK win for Deligny

The last race of the meeting, the OK Final was still benefiting from sunny weather in Sarno for the last meeting of the WSK Super Master Series season. Joe Turney (Tony Kart/Vortex) got off to a great start in the first lap, ahead of Kean Nakamura Berta (KR/Iame) and Oscar Pedersen (Tony Kart/Vortex), followed by Freddie Slater (LN/Vortex) and Enzo Deligny (Parolin/TM). Tomass Stolcermanis did not start well and dropped back to 9th. Deligny moved up to 3rd place while Luigi Coluccio (Tony Kart/Vortex) moved up to the top five. On the fourth lap, Deligny attacked Nakamura for 2nd place. The Frenchman then followed Turney and passed him on the seventh lap to take the lead of the race. David Walther (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Akshay Bohra (KR/Iame) entered the top five ahead of Stolcermanis and Nakamura. Slater took 2nd position at the halfway point while Deligny increased his lead. Stolcermanis returned to his starting position in 4th place and set a fastest time, while Turney dislodged Slater from 2nd place. Deligny took a magnificent victory 1.8″ ahead of Turney. Slater did everything to keep 3rd place. Stolcermanis crashed out of 6th in the last lap, Walther and Nakamura completed the top five.
