Khavalkin wins the OK-Junior Final

Kirill Kutskov started the OK-Junior Final of the WSK Super Master Series in Sarno as leader but Kirill Dzitiev (Tony Kart/Vortex) attacked him on the third lap. Oleksander Bondarev (LN/Vortex) was sent into a spin and started again on his own, but was 34th. Anatoly Khavalkin (Parolin/TM) was close to the leader while Kutskov came back to 3rd. Dmitry Matveev (Tony Kart/Vortex) moved up to 4th place, followed by Nathan Tye (Sodi/TM). Dzitiev and Khavalkin were separated by just a tenth, more than a second ahead of the chasing trio. Further back, Douwe Dedecker (KR/Iame) had moved up to 6th place to lead the chasing pack. Khavalkin took the lead with two laps to go and controlled his opponents until the chequered flag. He was nearly 5 tenths ahead of Dzitiev at the line. Tye reached the podium after an 11-place climb. Matveev and Kutskov completed the top five. Guillaume Bouzar (Tony Kart/Vortex) finished 12th and Maxens Verbrugge (Exprit/TM) made up eightp positions to 23rd.
