In the rain of Muro Leccese, the Qualifying Heats of the third round of the WSK Super Master Series have significantly changed the situation. Many competitors went off track and were penalised for spoilers in a bad position.
Pole sitter Kean Nakamura Berta (KR/Iame) was the only one to hold his position on Saturday night, but it was a close call as Joe Turney (Tony Kart/Vortex) achieved the same score and finished 2nd from 13th. Tomass Stolcermanis (Energy/TM) came back to 3rd, Tuukka Taponen (Tony Kart/Vortex) moved up 14 places to 4th ahead of Cristian Bertuca (Birel ART/TM). Luigi Coluccio (Tony Kart/Vortex) was 12th, Freddie Slater (LN/Vortex) 14th and Alex Powell (KR/Iame) 18th. Harley Keeble (Birel ART/TM) moved up 18 places to 19th and David Walther (Tony Kart/Vortex) moved up to 3rd from 30th.
