OK: Nakamura achieves a superb pole before the rain started

The 38 OK drivers of the WSK Super Master Series #3 were split into two groups during the Qualifying Practice at La Conca, as clouds filled the sky.

Kean Nakamura Berta (KR/Iame) and Alex Powell (KR/Iame) were at the top of the first group ahead of David Walther (Tony Kart/Vortex), and Tomass Stolcermaniss (Energy/TM) joined the time battle. Nakamura was finally the fastest with his remarkable sixth lap of 44”277, 0,277” faster than Walther. Oscar Pedersen (Tony Kart/Vortex) was 3rd ahead of Powell and Stolcermanis.

The arrival of the rain delayed the start of the second session while the tyres were changed. A duel between Luigi Coluccio (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Freddie Slater (LN/Vortex) began immediately. The rain came back on lap 3 and there was no question of improving. Coluccio finished with the fastest time – 1’10”554, two tenths ahead of Slater. Matheus Ferreira (KR/Iame) was 3rd, more than six tenths behind, Bertuca (Birel ART/TM) 4th, more than a second behind and Akshay Bohra (KR/Iame) 5th.
