Super A returns to the track with House of Hundred, almost

100 Super is a class based on what House of Hundred believe was the most uncompromising class of all – Formula Super A from the 1990s.

100 Super is not for the fainthearted or undedicated. HoH is only too aware that its ethos and regulations do not appeal to the kart masses, but to do this class justice, it by definition cannot appeal to the masses because:

Equipment may be difficult to source.
The weight limit may be difficult to get down to.
The grip level may be too punishing for most historic kart drivers.
The carbs may be difficult to start, let alone get running correctly.

These are some of the obstacles that the entrants will have to deal with if they want to be part of something this special. Formula Super A is gone and will never return, but this is our best shot at experiencing something close to the greatest karts ever raced.

Every person that enters will be part of a select club, a band of purist karting thrill seeking brothers/sisters’ intent on knowing what it is to race 100 Super.

Multiple round championships place huge strain on the over 20 year old equipment we all race, as well as our bodies and wallets, so with this in mind HoH is introducing a new concept to karting – The Championship Belt.

HoH believes one-off kart events during a year that each hold equal special status for drivers is the best route forward for 100 Super, but we still want champions to be crowned. So, if you win the House of Hundred 100 Super Championship Belt you hold that status until the next event where the belt is back up for grabs. There is no need to race multiple rounds during a year to be in with a chance of being an all-conquering champion.

The first event is being held by NKC at Whilton Mill on July 2/3. Have you got what it takes to be the 100 Super Champion?
