WSK Super Master #1 Lonato: Lammers takes the lead in OK-Junior

The OK-Junior category was quite open during the Qualifying Heats of the first round of the WSK Super Master Series in Lonato in temperatures peaking at around 8°C. Six different drivers won in the 15 races. Poleman Dmitry Matveev (Tony Kart/Vortex) took three victories, but it was not enough to keep him in the lead. René Lammers (Parolin/TM) took the lead over Enea Frey (LN/Vortex), although they also added three wins to their score. Olekasndr Bondarev (LN/Vortex) climbed 11 places to 3rd ahead of Andres Cardenas (Energy/TM) who moved up seven places. Matveev remained in the top five ahead of Maciej Gladysz (LN/Vortex). Kirill Kutskov (Birel ART/TM) was 9th (+20 places) followed by Nathan Tye (Sodi/TM) in 10th (+18 places). Reno Francot (Birel ART/TM) moved up from 37th to 12th position. Even better, Anantoly Khavalkin (Parolin/TM) moved up 49 places to 18th. Andy Consani (Sodi/TM) had a convincing run in 23rd position after a first heat on the side of the track. Jimmy Helias (Tony Kart/Vortex) was 38th. Alfie Slater (LN/Vortex) did not set a Qualifying time, but still managed to finish 45th out of 69 participants. Maxence Bouvier (Sodi/TM) was 46th and Thomas Quincé (Tony Kart/TM) 54th.
