Pellemele the king of Project E20 in Bahrain

On Saturday morning, the Project E20 electric class opened the Final stages of the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals 2021 in Bahrain. The weather was fine, the sky was slightly cloudy, the wind was strong and the temperature was 24°C. This was the first Final of the meeting.

Hannes Morin (SWE) immediately followed the leader Oscar Pellemele (FRA) and overtook Theo Kekati (ARE). The three leaders quickly distanced themselves from the rest of the field led by Malte Ebdrup (DNK) while David Aulejtner (POL) and Aleksi Jalava (FIN) fought for 5th position. Lap after lap, Pellemele increased the lead, taking advantage of the duel between Morin and Kekati to set a fastest time. Morin lost the small advantage he had built up, Kekati and Ebdrup came back in his wheeltracks and the final battle began. The attacks, more or less successful, multiplied as Aulejtner and Victor Nielsen (DNK) joined the animated group. Kekati, then Jalava retired. Pellemele completed his domination by taking the Final victory with a nearly 5″ lead. Morin finished 2nd, Aulejtner 3rd, Nielsen 4th and Ebdrup 5th.
