DD2 Masters: Riche takes the lead in Bahrain

Morgan Riche (FRA) won both DD2 Masters Qualifying Heats of the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals in Bahrain ahead of Pier-Luc Ouellette (CAN). These two drivers will be on the first row of the starting grid for the Prefinal on Friday afternoon. Paul Louveau (FRA), who had two strong runs in 3rd place, has logically moved up to 3rd ahead of two other fast drivers, Derek Wang (USA) and Henrijs Grube (LVA). Michael Hitchcock (CHE) moved up six places to 6th place ahead of Eriks Gasparovics (LVA). Christophe Capitaine (FRA) finished 16th in front of Fabio Kieltyka (BEL) who took back no less than 17 positions. Christophe Adams, in Dutch colours this time, was in 22nd position, while Igor Mukhin (RUS) was not at his best.
