To get the 2021 Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals in Bahrain off to a good start, Frenchman Oscar Pellemele, this year’s DEKM champion, took E20 pole position with a best lap of 53.534 on his second lap, 61 thousandths ahead of Theo Kelati (ARE). Aleksi Jalava (Fin) followed in 3rd at 0.167″, while Victor Nielsen (DNK) and Malte Ebdrup (DNK) completed the top five more than two tenths behind. Matilda Olsson (SWE) finished 9th.
