At the end of the day, the 41 drivers of the FIA Karting Academy Trophy took part in Qualifying Practice at the Kristianstad circuit in very pleasant weather.

In the first session, Dion Gowda (SGP) took the lead on the fourth lap with 54”112, but Ludvig Fransson (SWE) improved on the next lap with 53”922. Gowda regained the lead on the final lap in 53”652, 0.122 seconds ahead of Fransson. Caleb Gafrarar (USA) followed in 3rd place, 3 tenths behind Riccardo Ianniello (ITA) and Nando Weixelbaumer (AUT). Augustin Bernier (FRA) was 9th at 4 tenths.

Leon Zelenko (HRV) was the first to go under 55” ahead of Reno Francot (NLD) in the second session. David Walther (DNK) was then in the fight with Francot under 54”. Oleksander Bondarev (UKR) was back in the top three while Maciej Gladysz (POL) was the fastest driver of the moment. Walther started later and took pole position on his fourth lap in 53’475, followed by Gladysz by 84 hundredths and Leon Ochiai (JPN) by a tenth. Zelenko finished 4th and Bondarev 5th. Francot was 8th.
