As in the Mini, the Junior Final of the Rotax MAX Challenge International Trophy was stopped with the red flag after two false starts. The race was finally launched. Kai Rillaerts (BEL – Exprit – JJ Racing) took a small lead on the first lap over Téo Blin (FRA – Tony Kart) and Farin Megger (DEU – Exprit – JJ Racing). Menyhért Krózser (HUN – Kosmic – KSB Racing Team) and Alexander Skjelten (LVA – Kosmic) followed not far behind. Jules Roussel (FRA – Sodi) made a good 15-place improvement to 19th place. Megger had moved up to 2nd ahead of Blin and was closing in on the leader. Blin reacted and recovered his 2nd place on the seventh lap. Krózser and Skjelten passed Megger in turn. Blin chased down Rillaerts thanks to his speed in sector 1, but remained behind in sector 2. Rillaerts finally won 1” ahead of Blin, Megger took 3rd position, Skjelten finished 4th and Krózser 5th. Karel Schulz (FRA – Exprit) was close to the top 10, whereas Roussel finished his 21 place climb in 13th position.
