Antonelli confirms his status as favourite in OK at the end of the heats

In the fine weather of Aunay-les-Bois, the last two rounds of the FIA Karting European Championship saw Evan Giltaire (KR/Iame) and Andrea Kimi Antonelli (KR/Iame) win. The Italian completed his clean sweep and extended his dominance of the class ahead of the Final. Artem Severiukhin (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Rafael Camara (KR/Iame) completed the trifecta of heats in a different order than Qualifying. Yannick De Brabander (Praga/Iame) completed a magnificent performance in 4th position in front of Evan Giltaire (KR/Iame), who was solid in the battles of the leading group.

Martinius Stenshorne (Birel ART/TM), Ugo Ugochukwu (KR/Iame), Arvid Lindblad (KR/Iame), Juho Valtanen (KR/TM) and Luigi Coluccio (Kosmic/Vortex) still had a chance to make it to the Final by finishing in the top 10. Marlon Hernandez (KR/Iame) qualified 22nd and Hugo Besson (KR/Iame) 28th.
