F4 Academy: Magny-Cours takes over

Nogaro successfully launched this new season of the French F4 Championship, which will still be very international in 2021 with its seven nations represented. This first event showed that there were many candidates for the title in this excellent vintage presented by the FFSA Academy. Three different drivers have already taken turns on the top step of the podium and several others have shown their worth, setting the tone for this competition that is as formative as it is competitive.

On 7-8-9 May, 15 young drivers will battle it out on the Magny-Cours circuit for their second event in the prestigious GT World Challenge Europe. With a total of 47 points, Esteban Masson will arrive in the Nièvre department as the leader. But he is not the only one to have made a strong impression. Like the Frenchman, Australian Hugh Barter has already had the honour of winning, while Macéo Capietto will be looking to follow up his speed in the Gers with a first victory. The repeaters Owen Tangavelou, Daniel Ligier and Noah Andy are sharper than ever. Gaël Julien showed that he has the potential to fight for the podium. Poland’s Adam Szydlowski, India’s Vignesh Kadarabad and women’s Angélina Favario will be keen to step up.

The French F4 Junior Championship is also going to be very competitive, especially between the British Aiden Neate and the Swiss Dario Cabanelas. Alessandro Giusti, Pierre-Alexandre Provost and Enzo Géraci will not want to be satisfied with the role of referee. There is no doubt that the F4 Academy will play an active role in the success of this Burgundy meeting during the weekend of May 8th.
