eKarting Spanish Open 2021 by Play and Drive

The aim of Play and Drive is to build the still missing bases of the electric motor sport pyramid that culminates in Formula E. After developing an electrically powered Lotus Elise, Play and Drive has set up its first high-performance ekarting championship from 2019.

EGT5 is the name of the Play and Drive electric drive kit adaptable to CIK-FIA approved chassis for the KZ. Here are some of its technical features :
– capacity 5 kWh
– voltage 100,8 V
– power 30 kW in qualification mode, 20 kW in race mode
– torque 80 Nm
– charging time between 45 and 60 min
– minimum weight with driver 186 kg in Junior and 199 kg in Senior
– maximum speed from 110 to 150 km/h
– Pirelli tyres

The eKarting Spanish Open 2021 will take place over three events:
27-29 August: Valencia, Chiva Kartodromo Lucas Guerrero
24-26 September: Zuera International Circuit
29-31 October: Motorland International Karting Circuit, Alacaniz
