Provisions to enter the track facilities of the karting track “Circuit Horensbergdam” in Genk

A COVID-19 PCR test with a negative result is mandatory for everybody to get access to the track facilities. The test cannot be older than 72 hours (date of the swabbing). The local authorities cannot accept the result of a negative blood test, as it is only tracing the existence of antibodies, not the status of being positive or negative at that time.

For every person, it is mandatory to register once via an online system until 28 August by latest:
> Drivers registration
> Camping registration
> Teams – Fuel supplier – Tyre supplier – Industry – Catering supplier
> Paddock space reques

As soon as you are entering once the track facilities with a negative test, no additional test will be required during the whole event. Nevertheless, face masks must be worn at ALL TIMES, even in the tents.

Every driver under 18 years of age can be accompanied by maximum two persons (mechanic and one legal guardian for example) and will get access to the track facilities.

Every driver with/or over 18 years of age can be accompanied by maximum one person (mechanic) and will get access to the track facilities.

Every team (KZ and KZ2 categories) with two or more drivers – maximum one team manager and on request additional persons will get access to the track facilities.

Suppliers (Academy Trophy, tyres, fuel, engine tuners for example) and press people will get access to the track facilities after registering via the online system.

Hospitality units are in principle possible on request to the organizer
Camper vans and trucks are permitted on request (see organizer’s link above)

COVID-19 PCR Test

Option 1 : You can provide a COVID-19 PCR negative test approved by your local authorities by yourself

Option 2 : On site, at the track facilities of the karting track “Circuit Horensbergdam” in Genk, we will provide the possibility to collect samples that will be tested in a Belgian laboratory at the following dates:
Sunday 30/08 from 2 pm to 6 pm
Monday 31/08 from 8 am to 6 pm
Tuesday 01/09 from 8 am to 6 pm

The person needs to register on site with name, date of birth, country of residence and email. After completion of the ‘formalities’ the test will be carried out.

The cost will be about 40€.  Payment can be done by credit card only.

The person will be informed of the result by email.
Result delay: at the latest 24h after receiving the sample in the laboratory:
testing Sunday 30/08; result Monday evening;
testing Monday before 12 am; result Tuesday before 12 am;
testing Monday after 12 am; result Tuesday evening;
testing Tuesday before 12 am; result Wednesday before 12 am;
testing Tuesday after 12 am; result Wednesday evening;

Option 3 : Test DRIVE-IN ZOL 2130 – Campus Sint-Jan, Schiepse Bos 6, 3600 Genk

Follow the indicated signs
A person needs to reserve a time slot in the ‘drive-in’ facility of the hospital ZOL (ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg) via the following number : +32 89/32 50 50
The time slot is valid for 30’; e.g. slot at 15h00 means being present between 15h00 and 15h30.
During the reserved slot, the person needs to register:
ID card/passport necessary
The person needs to come alone, if the person is a minor – an accompanying person is allowed
After completion of the ‘formalities’ the test will be carried out.
The cost will be about 67€.  Payment can only be done by credit card.

The person will be informed of the result by email or phone.
Result delay:
testing day 1 before 11h30 am; result day 1 as of 5 pm
testing day 1 after 12h00 am ; result day 1 as of 11 pm.
