Accidental death of young Driver Konstantin Kapetanidis

Konstantin Kapetanidis, a 19-year-old German Driver, has been racing in International Competition in the KZ2 category since last year. He was entered in the 2020 FIA Karting European Championship – KZ2 and was due to take part in the first Competition next week on the Adria circuit with Michele Lenzo’s Novalux team at the wheel of a Lenzokart / TM Racing / Vega.

Konstantin died in a motorcycle accident on Thursday 6th August 2020. Konstantin was very much appreciated in the karting Competition scene. The CIK-FIA extends its sincere condolences to his father, who accompanied him to all the races, his family and his loved ones.
