A new brand of kart engines from Denmark

To the great astonishment of the Italian manufacturers who outrageously dominate the market of competition kart engines, a rival has just revealed the progress of a new project that could well change the situation.

One Engines and its subsidiary One Engineering ApS are in the process of finishing the casting moulds. The first parts should be cast before the end of the month. The aim is to manufacture OK and OK-Junior engines, respectively called One SX and One SV, in Denmark, in order to be ready for CIK-FIA homologation in 2022. One Engines’ expertise in the field and its very Nordic seriousness let us predict that the schedule will be respected as well as the performance of the new engines. This is likely to revolutionize the competition. One Engines does not hide its ambition to add a 5th world title to its list of achievements, but this time with its own engines.

The project, which was launched 18 months ago, calls on all the internal resources of Ole Haugard’s team. Despite the secrecy surrounding this new achievement, we can be certain that it will be a 100% Made in Denmark product and that a high level of performance will be combined with outstanding reliability. It has received the support of the Danish Federation DASU Karting and the Danish Automobile Club. There is also strong talk of the launching in Denmark of two monomakes classes equipped with the ONE SV and ONE SX from 2021.
