Winter Cup : Bedrin at the front of the heats on OK Saturday night

After setting the 7th fastest time, Nikita Bedrin (Tony Kart/Vortex) managed to win three of his four heats and thus take the lead in the OK category of the 2020 Winter Cup at Lonato. His direct pursuers still have one more heat to go on Sunday morning before starting their Super Heat. Kirill Smal (Energy/TM), Lorenzo Travisanutto (Tony Kart/Vortex) and James Wharton (Parolin/TM) could add to their score. We can see that the 5th in the provisional standings, Andrea Kimi Antonelli (KR/Iame), has completed all his heats, but already has 15 points and that Robert De Haan (Energy/TM) has 16 points in the same situation, which perhaps will not interfere with the top four hierarchy. Pedro Hiltbrand (Tony Kart/Vortex) moved up from 30th place to provisional 8th.

Among the retirees, Joseph Turney (Tony Kart/Vortex) dropped to 17th place, and Thomas Ten Brinke (Kosmic/Vortex) to 22nd. Deprived a Qualifying result by an engine that refused to start, Taylor Barnard (KR/Iame) performed well to move back from 85th to 25th position. Lola Lovinfosse (Tony Kart/Vortex) moved up from 42nd to 38th position despite retiring, which is still a great performance at this level.
