Team Modena Kart goes under the Birel ART colours

The year 2020 marks an important evolution for the Modena Kart Team, which has signed a collaboration agreement with Birel ART. The prestigious company from Lissone achieved a double resounding success at the FIA World Championship Karting – KZ 2019 on the Lonato circuit and also won the WSK Open Cup.

The Modena Kart team, born in 2001 thanks to the passion of the Finocchi brothers, Gabriele and Gionata, can boast a series of successes at national and international level, among which the recent titles obtained in the Italian ACI Karting KZ2 Championship with Simone Cunati in 2019 and in 2015 with Riccardo Longhi.

The top drivers of the Modena Kart/Birel Art 2020 team in KZ2 will be the experienced Simone Cunati and the promising Luigi Di Lorenzo, in constant progression after winning the Italian KZ3 Under championship with Modena Kart in 2017.

The Modena Kart 2020 programme with Birel Art will start with the Andrea Margutti Trophy in Lonato on March 1st and will continue in the Italian ACI Karting Championship, WSK, European Championship and FIA Karting World Championship. At the mechanical level, the team will be supported by TM Racing with the preparation of Gianfranco Galiffa.

Modena Kart/Birel Art’s commitment in 2020 will also be extended to the Mini, Junior and Senio categories, with another team already in preparation.
