Adria: Bedrin on pole in OK in the WSK Super Master Series at Adria

With 71 participants, the OK category had a strong line-up for the opening of the WSK Super Master Series at Adria. Cloudy skies, but a dry track, were on the programme for the Qualifying practice.

Nikita Bedrin (Tony Kart/Vortex) was well ahead of his rivals in the first session with a time of 48”780, 2.6 tenths faster than Dilano Vant’Hoff (Exprit/TM) and 3.3 tenths ahead of Lorenzo Ressico d’Aloisio (KR/Iame). The surprise came from Tereza Babickova (Tony Kart/TM) in 4th position, while Lorenzo Travisanutto (Tony Kart/Vortex) finished 6th. Florian Rousseau-Ricci (KR/Iame) finished 18th.

Enzo Trulli (KR/Iame) set the fastest time of the second session – 49”003 – while Kirill Smal (Energy/TM) was 59 thousandths back. Robert De Haan (Energy/TM) took 3rd place in front of an excellent Franck Chappard (KR/Iame) who was ahead of Thomas Ten Brinke (Kosmic/Vortex). Marcus Amand (KR/Iame) finished 6th in front of James Wharton (Parolin/TM). Lola Lovinfosse (Tony Kart/Vortex) finished 20th and Marlon Hernandez (KR/Iame) 23rd.

The third session was the slowest and despite all his efforts, Andrea Kimi Antonelli (KR/Iame) could do no better than 49”027, followed by one hundredth by Harry Thompson (KR/Iame). Taylor Barnard (KR/Iame) was relegated by 0.156” followed by Joseph Turney and Lorenzo Patrese. Pedro Hiltbrand (Tony Kart/Vortex) finished 12th.
