The Master drivers may be the oldest on the track, but they are not the calmest, far from it. The Qualifying Heats of the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals in Sarno have often shown this. Twice victorious, Matias Rodriguez (ARG) took 1st place with a good lead over Henrijs Grube (LVA) while Eriks Gasparovics (LVA) moved up from 9th to 3rd place ahead of Rodrigo Eckholt (CHI) and Jari Koivisto (FIN). Rudy Champion (FRA) rose from 19th to 6th place ahead of the poleman Roberto Pesevski (AUT).
