The situation was not easy after some particularly busy heats at the 2019 Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals at Sarno. Poleman Clay Osborne (NZL) consistently dominated without exception and took two wins. He was well ahead of Charlie Wurz (AUT) who had followed him in Qualifying. Oli Pylka (FIN) put forward solid arguments to return to 3rd place, but without any favouritism the most popular driver was Sacha Maguet (FRA), who moved up from 25th to 4th place. A driver to follow for the rest of the competition…. Solid in the battle, Hugh Barter (AUS) was 5th, while Schu Dozono (JPN) and Hitoshi Sakai (JPN) dropped to 15th and 16th positions.
