The FIA Karting International Super Cup – KZ2 took up a large proportion of the Lonato programme this Saturday with no less than 17 Qualifying Heats to play in the sun. There are still four to go to reach the end of this phase on Sunday morning, while the risk of rain is increasing.

The leader of the CPB Sport team Emilien Denner (Sodi / TM), who held pole position, calmly and resolutely pursued a faultless run that brought him five victories in five races. David Vidales (Tony Kart / Vortex) managed to return to 2nd place, followed by Danilo Albanese (Tony Kart / Vortex), who acquitted himself well against Giacomo Pollini (Formula K / TM) and Emil Skaras (Energy / TM). Alessio Piccini (Tony Kart / Vortex) was always on the pace, while we admired the style and effectiveness of Natalia Balbo (Formula K / TM) in this male-dominated arena. Thomas Landais (Sodi / TM) was notable for his good performances, as was Senna van Walstijn (KR / Iame).

On the other hand, Jean Nomblot (Sodi / TM) was the victim sparkplug problem in his first run. Other good drivers like Massimo Dante (Maranello / TM), Filippo Berto (Birel ART / TM) and David Trefilovs (Maranello / TM) were also severely delayed.
