Bruynseels the big winner in Senior

For the last Final of the Rotax Max Challenge International Trophy, the Seniors, Illian Bruynseels (BEL – Tony Kart) was leading next to Valentin Gil (FRA – Tony Kart), ahead of César Gazeau (FRA – FA Kart) who sneaked into 2nd position when the lights went out. Oscar Pellemele (FRA – Sodi) returned to the pits and Oakley Pryer (GBR – Tony Kart) retired straight away. Charles Tesnière (FRA – Kosmic) was already in 4th place ahead of Charlie Turner (GBR – FA Kart), Lewis Gilbert (GBR – Tony Kart) and Jordan Brown-Nutley (GBR – Tony Kart). Gazeau was on the heels of leader Bruynseels, followed by Gil and Tesnière, performing well. While Gilbert joined the top four, Gil attacked Gazeau for 2nd place. Seven drivers were now grouped a second behind Bruynseels. Gazeau recovered his 2nd place, Tesnière followed him while Gil dropped to 8th. In view of the finish, Gilbert took 3rd place ahead of Guilherme De Oliveira (PRT – Kosmic) and Tesnière finally in 5th. Bruynseels was 2.6” ahead of Gazeau.
