After the first nine rounds played at Le Mans on Thursday, Senior poleman César Gazeau (FRA – FA Kart) remained ahead of the Rotax Max Challenge International Trophy with a clean score and three wins. Dylan Léger (FRA – OTK), who started from 5th, regained some ground by also taking three wins, while Lachlan Robinson (ARE – OTK) was 3rd in front of Illian Bruynseels (BEL – Tony Kart) and Oakley Pryer (GBR – Tony Kart).

 

Charles Tesnière (FRA – Kosmic) started a good recovery from his 31st in Qualifying and was 6th ahead of Valentin Gil (FRA – Tony Kart). Hunter Rhys (GBR – FA Kart), Lewis Gilbert (GBR – Tony Kart) and Novak Mario (AUT – Exprit) completed the top 10 after some good progress.

 

Oscar Pellemele (FRA – Sodi) and Matilda Olsson (SWE – Tony Kart), both 3rd and 4th in Qualifying, had dropped out in one heat and were 32nd and 24th, Manuel De Oliveira (PRT – Kosmic) following the same trajectory in 21st place. Maksim Turiev (RUS – Tony Kart) dropped to 36th position for the same reason, while Vincent France (DEU – Exprit) ranked 25th with average overall performances.

 

Six heats were on Friday’s schedule before the list of finalists is released. The unofficial intermediate ranking carried out by Kartcom is to be followed here.
