There was maximum tension for the start of the KZ Final after the presentation. It was hot on the track and under the helmets for this decisive race for the the European Championship. Simo Puhakka (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Alex Irlando (Birel ART / TM) shared the front row ahead of Lorenzo Camplese (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM).

Bas Lammers (Sodi / TM) made a great start and even passed his team-mate Abbasse who was hooked by Matteo Vigano (Tony Kart / Vortex): the two favourites were eliminated on the first lap. Later, Irlando and Puhakka crashed and retired as well. The title race was disrupted. Camplese led in front of Lammers with Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) 3rd, Jorrit Pex (KR / TM) 4th and Mirko Torsellini 5th. He had regained his place after having made a late start and received the black flag. Camplese, Abbasse and Lammers were tied for points in the Championship. Adrien Renaudin (Sodi / TM) was 5th. The battle was raging at the front between Camplese and Lammers who were separated by 5 tenths, Ardigo following by 2 tenths before going out the end of the start-finish straight on lap 12. Jorrit Pex was now 3rd ahead of his brother Stan and Renaudin and leading the virtual Championship.

The closing laps no longer brought big changes.  After a crazy race in an unpredictable scenario, Camplese won with the fastest lap, one second ahead of Lammers, while Jorrit Pex, in 3rd by more than three seconds won the Championship. Stan Pex finished 4th, Marijn Kremers (Birel ART / TM) 5th ahead of Renaudin. Camplese was 2nd in the Championship, Abbasse 3rd, Lammers 4th and Vigano 5th.
