As always, the number of participants has decreased. At Kristianstad, for the third of the four events of the FIA Karting European Championship – OK & Junior, the drop is significant with a total loss of 43 drivers which leads to 157 present as opposed to the 188 registered.

In OK, the most notable absences are Kas Haverkort (CRG / TM), 18th in the standings, Rasmus Joutsimies (FA Kart / Iame), Evann Mallet (Redspeed / Iame), Thomas Nepveu (BirelART / TM), Ries Viverette (Kosmic / Iame), while only one of the eight wild cards is missing, for a total of 66 drivers.

In OK-Junior, we noticed the absence of Matthew Rees (KR / Iame), Arthur Rogeon (Sodi / TM), and Artem Severiukhin (Tony Kart / Vortex) who was among the favourites at the beginning of the season. Like his brother, Gene Joutsimies (Kosmic / Iame) did not come, and neither did Mattéo Spirgel (BirelART / TM). The 21 wild cards are present and bring the total to 91 drivers.
