DJKM: Scionti takes off at Lonato with Ward

The young Texan Enzo Scionti changed his weapon by taking the wheel of a Ward Racing Team Tony Kart / Vortex at the first round of the DJKM German Championship at Lonato. The track conditions were complex and full of pitfalls due to the intermittent rain on the South Garda Karting circuit.

With full confidence in his new team, Enzo obtained his best results of the beginning of the season. From the Qualifying sessions, he showed excellent speed by setting the 6th fastest time of the 45 entries in OK-Junior. The heats confirmed his return to form as he was 8th on Saturday night. As changing weather made the competition even harder on Sunday, Enzo had two great races on the slippery asphalt of Lonato. 6th in Race 1, he was fighting in the top five of Race 2 before finishing 7th.

Enzo is now preparing to start the FIA ??Karting European Championship – Junior on the French circuit of Angerville in the colours of Ward Racing.
