KZ2 pole for Federer in Lonato

The three KZ2 timed sessions of the Winter Cup took place in beautiful weather at Lonato. The best performances were achieved between the 6th and the 7th lap. The second session was the fastest of the three, but without much difference.

Giuseppe Palomba (Croc Promotions / TM) was the fastest of the first session with 46”618, against Massimo Dante (Maranello / TM) and Andrea Dale’ (CRG / TM) close behind him. Marco Ardigo’ (Tony Kart / Vortex) was 4th by 1.5 tenths, then Alessio Lorandi (Parolin / TM) in 5th, followed by Jérémy Iglesias (Formula K / Iame) and Bas Lammers (Sodi / TM). Craig Tanic (Birel ART / TM) was not bad for his debut in KZ2 with 12th.

In the second session, the laps proved faster with the fastest time achieved by Fabian Federer (Maranello / TM) in 46”533 against Giacomo Pollini (Formula K / TM) and Matteo Vigano (Tony Kart / Vortex). Marijn Kremers (Birel ART / TM) finished 5th ahead of Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM), Alex Irlando (Birel ART / TM) in 7th and Emilien Denner (Sodi / TM) 8th. Jean Nomblot (Sodi / TM) was 15th, Tom Leuillet (Praga / Iame) 17th.

Adrien Renaudin (Sodi / TM) managed his session perfectly and set the fastest time of the third session with 46”747 ahead of William Lanzeni (Vemme / TM) and Francesco Comanducci (CKR / TM). Paolo De Conto (CRG / TM) took 4th position by 1 tenth, followed by Alexander Dahlberg (Birel ART / TM), Paul Evrard (Kosmic / Vortex) and Jean Luyet (CRG / TM).

Poleman Federer was followed by Palomba and Renaudin, then Pollini and Dante. Ardigo was 10th ahead of De Conto, Kremers and Lorandi. Abbasse was 16th, Iglesias 17th, Paul Evrard (Kosmic / Vortex) 18th, Irlando 19th and Lammers 20th. Denner was 22nd, Nomblot 43rd, Leuillet 49th, Gillian Lay (DR / TM) 57th, and Tanic 62nd.
