From his fourth lap, the German Farin Megger took pole position, without anyone being able to dislodge him in the following laps. Soon, the Russian Iakov Sokolov was in his wake, while the French drivers attempted to move up the rankings.
At the end of the session, Evan Giltaire came back to 3rd position and Augustin Bernier in 5th, with the Japanese Ryota Horachi sandwiched between the two brilliant members of Team France.
Some more unfamiliar nationalities came next, with Chilean Ramon Ramirez 6th ahead of Sami Joe Abi Nakle, from Lebanon. Léo Poncel was 13th and Théophile Nael 22nd.
Update:
Several times were cancelled for exceeding the track limits. Megger is now only 5th and left his pole to Sokolov. Giltaire is back up a notch in 2nd position ahead of his compatriot Bernier, as Horachi has tumbled to 22nd. Poncel (12th) gained a place, while Nael (28th) lost six!
