The Juniors of Team France in a good rhythm (2/4)

As in Mini Max, there are four French drivers entered in Junior. Although Marcus Amand remains uncertain, his compatriots approach the rest of the competition with optimism.

Esteban Masson

With three fastest times, and 2nd, 4th and 8th in his eight free sessions, Arnaud Sarrazin’s protégé has a smile. “These tests were very productive, we tried to change the equipment, sometimes it was better, sometimes not, but Tuesday ended with two 1st place finishes. I think I managed to master the Praga chassis that I am using on this occasion, however, we must not let up, because it’s very tight. “

César Gazeau
The feeling is good for Cesar and his coach, Morgan Riche (RM Concept). “On Monday, I constantly finished in the top four of the different sessions, the competition has progressed while we have continued to test different set-ups, at least we know in which direction to work on Wednesday.”

Dylan Leger
Twice, Dylan was fastest in his group and secured a time in the top five the rest of the time. “It’s a great start, but we must not be too confident because the track is more complex than it looks, many Juniors are going fast and we have to continue to progress as we have since we arrived.”

Marcus Amand
For the moment, this is one of the disappointments of Team France. Winner of this World Final last year in Mini Max, recently 6th in the OK-Junior World Championship and winner of a race of the WSK Final Cup, Marcus Amand has not yet found out how to improve his times significantly in Brazil. “With the exception of an encouraging time when the track was wet, I did not expect to be faced with such a situation, it’s a bit of a disaster, we’ll see tomorrow …”
