25 French drivers at Genk

The French delegation to the World Championship at Genk looks great with about 25 participants. “About”, because some are entered under a foreign license. In the KZ World Championship, we can count on Jeremy Iglesias (Formula K / Vortex) and possibly Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM) to fight for a podium, while Yohan Sogeul (Luxor / LKE), Damien Vallar (BirelART / TM) and the most French of the Belgians Christophe Adams (Sodi / TM) will be there for their own satisfaction above all else.

Of the 19 Frenchmen involved in the KZ2 International Super Cup, there is good reason to expect a good result. We are of course thinking of the current European Champion, Adrien Renaudin (Sodi / TM), and Emilien Denner (Kali’Kart / TM), winner of the 2018 DKM KZ2 Cup. The French Champion Pierre Loubère (Praga / TM), Hubert Petit (Sodi / TM), Tom Leuillet (Sodi / TM), Oliver Rasmussen (Kosmic / Vortex) and Paolo Besancenez (Sodi / TM) no doubt have the speed to show themselves off in Belgium against a strong field, with 105 drivers having entered. Gilllian Lay (DR / TM), Paul Evrard (Kosmic / Vortex), Thomas Landais (Alpha / TM), Jean Nomblot (Sodi / TM), Enzo Valente (BirelART / TM), Gabin Leuillet (Sodi / TM), Flavian Soguel (Luxor / LKE), Hugo Arnaud (Sodi / TM), Claude Bal (CRG / Vortex), Pieter Carette (CRG / Vortex), Vincent Wanègue (RK / TM) and Jean-Baptiste Leclerc (RK / TM) are also due on track.

In the FIA Karting Academy Trophy, Sami Meguetounif is ranked among the favourites with his 2nd place in the standings, while Craig Tanic, 14th, could score a good result.
