KZ: Francesco Celenta confirms, De Conto gets stronger

Francesco Celenta (Praga / TM Racing) was again imperial in the third and final heat in the middle of the world Karting elite. In addition to winning, he clinched the fastest lap in the race and will have the honour of starting from pole position in the Final.

Paolo De Conto (CRG / TM Racing) continues to impress. After two incisive passes on Mirko Torsellini (KR / Parilla) and Jorrit Pex (CRG / TM Racing), he moved up to 2nd place, which will allow him to start in 3rd position, while keeping his chances for the title.

Marijn Kremers (Birel ART / TM Racing) had to settle for 7th place in this final heat, but he narrowly saves his place on the front row for the Final. 4th in the provisional, Jorrit Pex (CRG / TM Racing) intends race at full speed in the European Championship, especially as Jérémy Iglesias (Formula K / TM Racing) finished his Qualifying Heats in a modest 15th place. 9th behind Torsellini, Dreezen, Ardigo and Federer, nothing is lost for the Frenchman overall. The Dutchman Bas Lammers enters the top ten for his debut in CIK-FIA racing with Alpha Karting.
