Frenchman Sami Meguetounif won his duel with Italy’s Federico Albanese in the Sunday morning heat, where the two drivers competed. In this CIK-FIA Academy Trophy, this third victory ensures him pole position for the Final where he will start with his rival at his side. Winner of the other heat, the Brazilian Guilherme A. De Figueiredo also made a strong impression.
Behind them, we find drivers who have also found the right set-up to be fast at Lonato, like the Lithuanian Kajus Siksnelis, the Spaniard Jose Maria Navalon Boya, the Austrian Marcel Kuc and the Moroccan Suleiman Zanfari.
There was good progress for the American Jak Crawford, 21st in Qualifying and 8th after the heats, while a collision has lost places for the Frenchman Craig Tanic, who will start from 20th place in the Final.
