The last three Qualifying Heats of the second round of the European OK Championship at PFI took place on Sunday morning in very nice and warm weather.
Luca Maisch (KR / Parilla) gave up control of heat E-F on the third lap and Kas Haverkort (CRG / TM) took the lead. Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG / TM) was fast approaching with Jonny Edgar (Exprit / TM) and Franck Chappard (Redspeed / Parilla) in his wheeltracks. After four laps, Edgar and Haverkort crashed and retired. Chappard continued on his way and overtook Hiltbrand to win the race, with Noah Milell (Tony Kart / Vortex) coming back very close to 3rd. Oliver Hodgson (Birel ART / Parilla) dropped to 15th.
Mattia Michelotto (KR / Parilla) quickly took the lead over Hannes Janker (KR / Parilla) early in the heat C-D, while Harry Thompson (FA Kart / Vortex) dropped out. The top two clashed several times in the penultimate lap, but Michelotto finally won against Janker, while Juho Valtanen (Kosmic / Vortex) finished 3rd in their wake. Dexter Patterson (Exprit / TM) kept his 4th place ahead of Mark Kimber (Tony Kart / Vortex).
Morgan Porter interposed between Lorenzo Travisanutto (KR / Parilla) and Danny Keirle (KR / Parilla) from the start of heat AB and went on to lead on the fourth lap, with Travisanutto coming 3rd under threat from David Vidales (Tony Kart / Vortex). Porter dropped to 4th. Keirle won with a comfortable lead, but Porter was now 2nd in front of Travisanutto and Vidales. Jules Mettetal (Redspeed / Parilla) finished 14th and Evann Spenle (Kosmic / Parilla) was 16th.
