European KZ: Jorrit Pex on pole in front of three other CRGs

With 23 participants, the first event of the KZ European Championship started with the anticipated Qualifying session on Friday at the end of the day. Although the times were equivalent to the best in KZ2, it was necessary to take into account the change of the track conditions as the sun had dropped sharply below the horizon of the Sologne forests.

Jorrit Pex (CRG / TM) clinched pole position with 57”766 on his third fast lap, followed by Fabian Federer (CRG / TM) and Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG / TM) by 0.21”, with Paolo De Conto (CRG / TM) completing the leading CRG quartet. Marijn Kremers (Birel ART / TM) was in the top five, ahead of Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex), Jérémy Iglesias (Formula K / TM) in 7th and Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM) 8th.
