WSK Sarno – OK Prefinals: Janker and Nielsen victorious

Tijmen Van der Helm (Tony Kart / Vortex) took control of Prefinal A in the OK category for the WSK Super Master Series at Sarno. Hannes Janker (KR / Parilla) remained in ambush in 2nd place while Lorenzo Travisanutto (KR / Parilla) beat Marijn Kremers (Birel ART / TM) for 3rd position. Janker quickly took the lead, followed by Travisanutto and Kremers. Janker then escaped impressively. Noah Milell (Tony Kart / Vortex) returned to 3rd place ahead of Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG / TM) and Kremers and the Swede dislodged the Italian from 2nd place on lap 11. Janker won a superb 3.7 ” ahead of Milell as the fight raged for 3rd place in the last lap. Side by side with Travisanutto during several corners, Hiltbrand ended up overtaking him at the finish. Kremers finished 5th in front of Van der Helm. Delayed at the start of the race, Franck Chappard (Redspeed / Parilla) came back to 17th place.

Luigi Coluccio (Birel ART / TM) followed Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart / Vortex) in Prefinal B, David Vidales (Tony Kart / Vortex), equipped with the new aerodynamic OTK Nassau panel, was 3rd ahead of Zane Maloney (FA Kart / Vortex ) and Jonny Edgar (Exprit / TM). Jules Mettetal (Kosmic / Parilla) retired in a collision at the first braking point, while Callum Bradshaw (CRG / TM) retired a little later. After starting well, Harry Thompson (FA Kart / Vortex) was jostled and dropped to 10th. Vidales attacked Coluccio at the end of the straight at halfway, while Edgar and Dexter Patterson (Exprit / TM) beat Maloney. Nielsen seemed to have some problems at the end of the race and just kept the 1st place against Vidales, Coluccio in 3rd by a tenth. Patterson made an impressive comeback in 4th position ahead of Edgar and Thompson finished 6th ahead of Roman Stanek (Kosmic / Vortex).
