Andrea Filaferro (Birel ART / TM) dominated the first timed session for the 60 Mini at Sarno. He had a best lap of 1’06”844, more than a tenth ahead of Rocco Mazzola (Italcorse / TM) and his team-mate Gianluca Costantino (Italcorse / TM). Nikita Andreas Johnson (Parolin / TM) was finally 4th and Brando Badoer (Parolin / TM) 5th. Jimmy Helias (Tony Kart / Vortex) finished 20th.
Dmitry Matveev (CRG / TM) was ahead of Joel Bergstrom (IP Karting / TM) at the finish in the second session with his last lap of 1’06”741. In 3rd place, Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Energy / TM) was only 36 thousandths back. A little further behind, Coskun Irfan (Parolin / TM) took 4th place and Alexander Gubenko (Parolin / TM) 5th.
The third session seemed to be significantly slower than the other two, as Keanu Al Azhari (Parolin / TM) lapped in 1’07”081 in front of specialists like Karol Pasiewicz (Energy / TM), Ean Eyckmans (Energy / TM), Tymoteusz Kucharczyk (Parolin / TM) and Alexandru Iancu (Maranello / TM). Jules Caranta (Kosmic / Vortex) was 22nd.
Matveev took pole position against Filaferro and Al Azhari.
