Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart / Vortex) quickly took the lead of Prefinal A at La Conca, while Zane Maloney (FA Kart / Vortex) dislodged Noah Milell (Tony Kart / Vortex) from 2nd position. Jonny Edgar (Exprit / TM) took 4th place, far ahead of David Vidales (Tony Kart / Vortex). Harry Thompson (FA Kart / Vortex) and Callum Bradshaw (CRG / TM) crashed and gave up on the second lap. Edgar was 2nd on the 6th lap, 1.6″ behind Nielsen and far behind Milell. Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG / TM) was in 4th position on the track, but a direct penalty of 3” sent him back to 10th in the standings. Marijn Kremers (Birel ART / TM) was in the top five. Edgar impressed by joining and overtaking Nielsen five laps from the finish. The race ended with Edgar’s incredible victory, 1.8 ” ahead of Nielsen, with Milell 3rd, Hiltbrand 4th, Maloney 5th, Chris Lulham 6th. Tom Joyner (Sodi / TM) qualified 13th, but Ugo Gazil (KR / Parilla) remained 22nd.

A collision involving half a dozen karts at the first corner immediately interrupted Prefinal B with the red flag. Lorenzo Ferrari (Exprit / Vortex) rolled and was apparently out with a wrist injury. Dexter Patterson (Exprit / TM) could not restart.

At the restart, Luigi Coluccio (Birel ART / TM) was in the wake of Lorenzo Travisanutto (KR / Parilla) and Juho Valtanen (Kosmic / Vortex). Behind Roman Stanek (Kosmic / Vortex), the battle was raging for 5th place. Hannes Janker (KR / Parilla) was then chasing Stanek as the gaps widened between the top three: Coluccio was left behind, but Valtanen gradually returned to the leader Travisanutto. Valtanen attacked Travisanutto at the hairpin and ejected him from the track. Valtanen crossed the line first, but was under investigation and received a penalty of 10” (8th). Coluccio became the winner in front of Janker, Stanek and Meyer. In 10th at the beginning of the race, Vincent Fraïsse (Sodi / TM) finished 16th in front of Travisanutto.
