12 of the 15 Qualifying Heats of the World Junior Championship had been completed by Saturday evening at PFI. After Qualifying marked by significant differences between sessions, the heats saw a lot of incidents and penalties. Several drivers, and not the least of them, have left their illusions there. There will be one heat to run for each driver on Sunday morning.

The unofficial classification by Kartcom makes it possible to gain a complete understanding of the situation. Harry Thompson (FA Kart / Vortex) leads with his three victories, against Dexter Patterson (Exprit / TM). Zane Maloney (FA Kart / Vortex) is then ahead of Chris Lulham (Exprit / TM) and Aleksey Brizhan (Tony Kart / Vortex) in the top five. Jack Doohan (FA Kart / Vortex) is in 6th place and Gabriel Bortoleto (CRG / Parilla ) in 7th. Surprises abound as the rankings continue with 8th place for Alessandro Famularo (Tony Kart / Vortex), 9th from Antoine Potty (Kosmic / Parilla), and Jules Mettetal (Kosmic / Parilla) in 10th. Victor Bernier (Tony Kart / Vortex) finished 17th, Evann Mallet (Kosmic / Parilla) 23rd, Loris Cabirou (Exprit / Vortex) 28th. Jonny Edgar (Exprit / TM) was able to regain some places despite several setbacks and is approaching 34th position.
