World Championship OK: Bradshaw fastest in Qualifying

The Qualifying Practice of the OK World Championship at PFI took place on a dry track, in slightly decreased temperatures and relatively overcast weather conditions.

 

Pavel Bulantsev (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Juho Valtanen (Kosmic / Vortex) took the lead in the first session then Bradshaw set the fastest time with 54”892, a small lead of 28 milliseconds on Bulantsev, Valtanen taking the 3rd position by two tenths. Finlay Kenneally (Tony Kart / Vortex) finished 4th, Louie Westover (CRG / Parilla) 5th and Lorenzo Travisanutto (Zanardi / Parilla) 6th. Adam Eteki (Zanardi / Parilla) was on the pace in 9th place.

 

The second session was a little slower, due to the gradual disappearance of the rubber from the OK-Junior Vegas. Esteban Muth (Zanardi / Parilla) was the fastest with 55”545, followed by Tom Joyner (Zanardi / Parilla) and Axel Charpentier (FA Kart / Vortex) by 0.137”. Théo Nouet (Energy / Parilla) climbed to 4th place in his final lap ahead of Gianluca Petecof (Tony Kart / Vortex). Flavio Camponeschi (CRG / Parilla) 6th ahead of Franck Chappard (Redspeed / Parilla).

 

The 3rd series slightly increased the pace compared to the 2nd. Pedro Hiltbrand (Tony Kart / Vortex) was closer to 49 thousandths by Oliver Hodgson who remained the fastest in 55”288. Paavo Tonteri (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Sami Taoufik (FA Kart / Vortex) finished well in the 3rd and 4th places before Théo Pourchaire (Kosmic / Vortex). Caio Collet (Birel ART / TM) was 7th ahead of Ulysses De Pauw (Kosmic / Parilla). Karol Basz (Kosmic / Vortex) was only credited for the 21st time.

 

Bradshaw won the pole position in front of Bulantsev and Valtanen, Kenneally 4th and Westover 5th. Travisanutto ranked 6th, Keirle 7th, Muth 8th, Lindh 9th and Eteki 10th. Hiltbrand found himself 18th ahead of Nouet, Camponeschi 25th, Chappard 27th ahead of Taoufik, Novalak 33rd, Pourchaire 35th, Collet 37th, Hauger 47th, Basz 70th.
