KZ2 Super Cup Wackersdorf – Free Practice

After two days of practice, the official free practice sessions of the KZ2 Super Cup were held on a totally dry track on Friday 8th September in Wackersdorf, although the cloud cover intensified as time went on.

The rapid progress of this preparatory phase gives some indications before the timed sessions, taking into account the particular parameters of this exercise. Riccardo Longhi (Birel ART / TM) set the fastest time of the day with 46”740 ahead of Nicolas Gonzales (Maranello / TM), Andrea Dahlberg (Birel ART / TM) and Francesco Celenta (Praga / TM). Troy Loeskow (Ricciardo / TM) and David Detmers (Parolin / TM) followed at the top of a previous session, while Benjamin Persson (CRG / TM) and Tom Leuillet (Sodi / TM) were on the pace. Daniel Stell (Mach 1 / TM) and Giacomo Pollini (Formula K / TM) completed the top 10. Alex Irlando (Sodi / TM), Erik Rismyrh (Sodi / TM) and Marco Zanchetta were equally fast, while Yohan Soguel (Lenzo / LKE), Alexandre Arrue (Sodi / TM) and Paolo Besancenez (Energy / Vortex) were the best placed of the French clan.
