Drizzle still predominates at Le Mans, but the last qualifying heats for the European KZ2 Championship took place in the dry.

Alessandro Pelizzari (CKR / TM) won the first in front of Leon Köhler (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Max Tubben (CRG / TM). Adrien Renaudin (Sodi / TM) finished 4th ahead of Martijn Van Leeuwen (Energy / TM) before dropping to 13th due to a spoiler penalty that also delayed Pierre Loubère (Zanardi / Parilla) to 16th. Alessandro Irlando (Sodi / TM) recovered 5th position in front of Alexander Dahlberg (Birel ART / TM), Tom Leuillet (Sodi / TM) gained 17 places, as did Maxime Sabin (Tony Kart / Vortex).

Matteo Vigano (Tony Kart / Vortex) was the winner in the last race, but Paul Fontaine (Sodi / TM) kept 2nd against Rokas Baciuska (Sodi / TM) and Nicolas Gonzales (Maranello / TM). Charles Fiault (Sodi / TM) was 6th and Hubert Petit (Sodi / TM) continued his climb from 24th to 9th. Francesco Celenta (Praga / TM) lost his 3rd position after a spoiler penalty.

In the final standings of the heats, Paolo Ippolito (Lenzo / LKE) and Pelizzari will be on the front row at the start of the Final. But Fontaine fulfilled his mission perfectly by placing 3rd in front of Vigano and Baciuska. Very enthusiastic as well, Renaudin moved up from 26th position to 8th ahead of Celenta. Gonzales is in 11th position in front of Irlando and Leuillet, who gained a remarkable 46 places!
