The penalties played a major role in the final result of the heats by punishing drivers who cut the Alonso track in Oviedo to save time at the chicanes.
Pedro Hiltbrand (Tony Kart / Vortex) crossed the finish line of the BC heat first, followed by Clement Novalak (Tony Kart / Vortex), but the Tony drivers dropped to 12th and 13th, while Hannes Janker (CRG / Parilla) was credited with his 4th win from Luca Lipkau (Zanardi / Parilla) and David Schumacher (Tony Kart / Vortex).
Janker kept the lead in the OK category with a zero score, followed by Noah Milell (Kosmic / Vortex) and Paavo Tonteri (Tony Kart / Vortex), then David Vidales (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Flavio Camponeschi (CRG / Parilla) in the top five. Hiltbrand is 6th for the start of the Final in front of Lorenzo Travisanutto (Zanardi / Parilla) and Novalak. The Frenchman, Théo Nouet (Energy / Parilla) is in 22nd place, Adam Eteki (Zanardi / Parilla) is 27th in spite of some beautiful moves. Karol Basz (Kosmic / Vortex) narrowly qualified in 33rd position, Theo Pourchaire (Kosmic / Vortex) finishing there after a dull weekend.
