Christian Douven attacked the poleman Alexandr Vasilenko on the first lap of the World Masters – Final Junior, withMickael Mota in 3rd place. The resistance came from the pack led by Lewis Appiagyei. Margot Romelli returned to 5th position in front of Tai Zulberti by setting the fastest time. At the front, Vasilenko returned to the leader Douven while Mota found himself under the threat from the chasing pack in which Romelli had taken the initiative.

Halfway through the race, the duel between Douven and Vasilenko was fierce, but the battle was no less fierce for 3rd place in a group of four raging drivers. Romelli then took 3rd position and parted company with the rest of the pack led by Zulberti ahead of Gianluca Cadoni. Douven resisted the constant pressure from Vasilenko to the end and won by two tenths of a second. Romelli was a superb 3rd position 4s behind the leaders, but 3s ahead of Cadoni and Mota.
