Caprasse leads the Sprint Cup qualifications ahead of Spinelli and Varbitzaliev

While the 12-hour Endurance Cup race took place on the 1200-metre RKC track, the Sprint Cup drivers completed their qualifying stages on Saturday morning on the 1000-metre track. The Super Final of Heat 4 saw Ventsislav Vassiliev escape to victory while Adrien Spinelli and Kevin Caprasse competed for 2nd place under the gaze of Nikolay Varbitzaliev. Caprasse was finally penalised and Varbitzaliev recovered 3rd place.

That did not prevent Kevin Caprasse from completing the leaderboard with 285 points, ahead of Adrien Spinelli (277 pts) and Nikolay Varbitzaliev (268 pts). The World Masters – Super Final is nevertheless very intense with Simon Delvenne in 4th position, Ventsislav Vassiliev 5th, Sébastien Fournet 6th, Rémy Ychard 7th and Diyan Konstadinov 8th. The final phase will be continue from 16:00 on the 1200m track.
