Vigano wins the KZ2 Final in front of Irlando

BLeon Köhler (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Tom Leuillet (Sodi / TM) were forced to give way at the first corner to Alex Irlando (Sodi / TM) and Matteo Vigano (Tony Kart / Vortex). Vigano then took the lead on the second lap, followed by Leuillet. Riccardo Longhi (Birel ART / TM) was 5th ahead of Pierre Loubère (Zanardi / Parilla) and Martijn Van Leeuwen (Energy / TM). Köhler recovered 2nd place on the next lap, with Irlando taking 3rd place against Leuillet. Nicolas Gonzales (Maranello / TM) quickly returned to the top 10. The leading trio headed by Vigano took the lead ahead of Longhi in 4th, Van Leeuwen 5th, Emil Skäras (Tony Kart / TM) 6th and Leuillet 7th. Longhi came closer and attacked Köhler for 3rd place before mid-race, while Leuillet resisted Gonzales for 7th position. Vigano now led 8 tenths ahead of Irlando.

The positions and gaps stabilized in the second half of the race. Leuillet however attacked Skäras three laps from the finish to take 6th, followed by Gonzales and Andrea Dahlberg (Birel ART / TM). Vignao won 1” ahead of Irlando, who was 1” ahead of Longhi, the fastest on the track, but then penalized. Köhler finished 3rd, Van Leeuwen 4th, Leuillet 5th and Gonzales 6th. Hubert Petit (Sodi / TM) was 11th, Oliver Rasmussen (Kosmic / Vortex) finished 13th (+ 17 pl), Adrien Renaudin (Sodi / TM) finished 15th and Thomas Landais (Tony Kart / Vortex) 22th. Loubere had given up after six laps.
