The order at the front didn’t change too much during the last three qualifying heats of the European KZ2 Championship at Genk. Leon Köhler (Tony Kart / Vortex) added a new victory to his clear run. Alex Irlando (Sodi / TM) and Tom Leuillet (Sodi / TM) tied with Matteo Vigano (Tony Kart / Vortex). On the other hand, Alessio Piccini (Tony Kart / Vortex) found himself 10th after an incident at the start. Pierre Loubère (Zanardi / Parilla) is in a very good 5th place ahead of Riccardo Longhi (Birel ART / TM) and Martin Van Leeuwen (Energy / TM). Hubert Petit (Sodi / TM) finished 12th, and Nicolas Gonzales (Maranello / TM) 13th after starting from the 27th time. Alexander Schmitz (CRG / Vortex) dropped to 14th after a retirement in a fight. There is a good 15th place for Nicolas Picot (Tony Kart / Vortex), while Adrien Renaudin (Sodi / TM) 22nd lost ground in his last heat. Thomas Landais (Tony Kart / Vortex) managed to come back to 27th despite a crash on the first run and Oliver Rasmussen (Kosmic / Vortex), also increasingly effective, qualified 30th after a penalty in the last heat.
