The third and final qualifying heat of the European KZ Championship at Genk was not lacking surprises, most of them negative. Marijn Kremers (Birel ART / TM) started the action by missing his start. Simo Puhakka (Kosmic / Vortex) led the race ahead of Rick Dreezen (Birel ART / Vortex) and Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM). Patrik Hajek (Kosmic / Vortex) retired after an engine problem, Jorrit Pex (CRG / TM) retired after contact with Bas Lammers (Sodi / TM), and Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) disappeared a little later. Paolo De Conto (CRG / TM) came back to Abbasse and passed aggressively on the last lap before returning to the parc ferme in a rattled way. Several penalties then fell, including the disqualification of Jérémy Iglesias (Formula K / TM) for replacing his detached spoiler.

Still, Abbasse will be in pole position for the Final alongside Dreezen, followed by Kremers and De Conto.
